1. Does CGS have anything for my kids?

Kids are one of our specialties! All year round there are upbeat and uplifting programs designed to teach kids the basics of the Bible. During the week CGS sponsors a martial arts program, to help children learn fitness, self-discipline and respect. Our youth activities include a "Bibles & Bits" class for Jr. High Girls. During our weekend services, our children are in a safe, friendly environment where they sing, learn the Bible and learn how to become authentic followers of Jesus.

2. What do we believe?

3. What am I missing by not coming to church?

You are missing life at its fullest! Life is full of pitfalls. Every day we run into stress, guilt and anxiety - sometimes it feels like there are chains dragging us down. But life doesn't have to be that way. Church isn't a magic place that will automatically take all your stress away. But it is a place where you can enter into a relationship with the only one who can help: Jesus. When you don't go to church, you miss out on the outpouring of Jesus' love and His Spirit. You miss great teaching about his life and words. And you miss your chance to be a part of his community, to help others and be helped to live everyday life.

4. What should I wear?

CGS is typical Seattle - casual and full of unique people. Some people dress up, some people roll out of bed and come to church without a mirror check. So whether you're in Levis or Prada, you'll fit right in.

5. How is CGS different?

CGS is different because we realize that people are different. When people visit us they are always amazed by the way they feel accepted. It doesn't really matter if you wear a suit and tie or blue jeans-since we know that people are different, we will accept anyone! CGS is also different because we aren't happy with just coming to church every week. We think that a relationship with Jesus is more than a Sunday thing. It changes everything we are and everything we do ...for the better!

6. Is it boring?

We certainly don't think so! Actually, we do everything we can to make sure that church isn't boring. The Bible really isn't boring. In fact, once you get to know Jesus, you realize that he pushed the limits. That means His people have to push the limits as well. Every Sunday morning we try our best to teach the Truth of the Bible with humor and real life application. This keeps people awake. More than that, it helps us all understand and grow.

7. Why CGS?

There are many churches in our area. Why would you want to choose CGS? The easiest way to answer that is to come and find out on your own. Everything you've read about CGS is true. It's a place where you will be accepted. It's a place where your kids will learn in a safe environment. Most important, it is a place where God wants to meet you.
